Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of pictures to share, but I hosted a Christmas Eve party with over 40 guests. The food was catered, but I made sugar cookies for the kids to decorate. I also used Cricut vinyl to personalize plates and aprons for each little guest. The kids had a ball decorating cookies!

Science Party Woohoo!
My mom usually hosts my nieces' birthday parties, but she was a bit floored when my niece asked for a science themed party. Being an engineer and total science geek, I was thrilled to tackle this theme...even with only two weeks to plan and execute! Check out some of the fun things from the party! I made t-shirt lab coats and solicited the help of my crafting partner in crime to help with vinyl work on the water bottle favors. The kids loved the science experiments during the party...growing snow and blowing balloon using vinegar and baking soda were huge hits!
Science Badges & Lab Coats
The kids LOVED the experiments!
Each child received a science notebook for collecting data (Dollar Tree!)
Who does love Pop Rocks & Bubble Gum Molecules!?!?!

Election Day
My daughter had a 2 hour delay at school today, so that meant mommy had to keep her entertained while trying to work (yay! to early voting!) I decided to make some election themed activities that worked on color, name, and number recognition and also threw in a little fine motor practice.

Happy Halloween!
My family has never been big on celebrating Halloween, but my neighborhood does it BIG! I decided to make my daughter a special shirt for school and made her classmates some special non-candy treats.

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas!
I finally had a chance to finish these Christmas items for children. I even created my own patterns for a stocking and tote bag.
October Treats
I found some ruffle pants that I absolutely loved, so I decided to embroider a coordinating shirt. My niece's first birthday is also coming up, so I had to make her some pumpkin themed attire. Finally, I embroidered some Halloween shirts for my nephews. I love spoiling the kiddos in my life!

Back to School Notebooks
When your teenage nieces want monogrammed notebooks, you create monogrammed notebooks. Ahhhh...the power of vinyl :-)
August Birthday
My posts will be short as I try to catch up, but I embroidered these shirts and made this blanket for my niece's first birthday.
August Baby Gift
I'm extremely behind in my blog posts...so many projects! This was one of my favorite projects from August.

Gift for Lydia
I decided to monogram a dress and shirt for my little cousin. Her birthday is this weekend :-) I wanted to keep my wrapping simple, so I decided to add a handmade card, bow, and personalized the box top with vinyl.
Towels for the Bride
This was a hectic week at work, but I promised someone I would monogram some towels as a wedding gift. I still have some work to do in regards to proper placement. I placed the monogram too high on the first towel, so I had to find a creative way to fix...scrolls! I think I did a pretty good job fixing my initial mistake :-)
July 4th Fireworks!
My daughter has sensory processing sensitivities, so we never know what to expect in large crowds or loud noises. We decided to book a hotel downtown to enjoy fireworks. There were food trucks, musical performances and lots of people, but my daughter LOVE it! Watching fireworks from the hotel window was the highlight of my daughter's night. Mommy decided to make her some special outfits for the holiday.

Boy Oh Boy
My friend had a baby boy this week, so I decided to make big bro and little bro few treats. I'm addicted to embroidery now :-) I am also enjoying the vinyl in floating frames.

June Weddings
A friend is getting married soon, so I decided to make a few personalized items for her. Of course lots of monogramming and sewing- towels and a blanket. I also decided to practice my vinyl skills and personalized a floating picture frame with their last name and wedding date.

Last Days of Preschool
Last week of preschool and on to Kindergarten! I decided to embroider some towels and tote bags for my daughter's classmates. I also decided to surprise my daughter with a few extra surprises as well.
